IPC Section 413: Explained In Simple Terms

Section 413 of the IPC is about habitual dealing in stolen property. It targets people who regularly buy, sell, or handle stolen items while knowing that those items are stolen. This isn’t about a one-time mistake; it focuses on individuals who make a habit of dealing with stolen goods as part of their business or lifestyle. For example, if someone consistently buys stolen electronics and sells them for profit, fully aware that they’re stolen, they can be charged under this law.
