Recently the Kondhwa Police officials arrested two contract killers- Ibrahim Alias Husain Shaikh and Rajan John Rajamani. The officials unravelled a case where Bhartiya Janta Party Leader Vivek Yadav allegedly hatched a plot in the Bombay HC campus. Yadav was seeking revenge against Vishnu Gawali for attempting murder against him.

The police arrested both the contract killers in Wakad. Rajmani has a criminal record and was released on bail in 2020. The two criminals were arrested on Wednesday red-handed with 3 firearms. The police officials seized their mobile phones and came to the knowledge of the alleged murder conspiracy by the Bjp leader. The WhatsApp Chat revealed that BJP corporator Yadav gave supari to kill Gawai in the same area where his terror rules (camp area).

On July 14th, the Kondhwa police received a tip that Rajmani and Shaikh were lurking around with illegal firearms. It was also informed that they took money to kill someone. Immediately, two special teams were deployed and conducted research. At 2.30 pm both the criminals got arrested. While going through their WhatsApp chat and on further inquiry, the criminals revealed everything. Rajan said that he lives in the same location as Gawai and Yadav. Five years ago, Gawai tried to kill Yadav in the Camp area. Thereafter, Gawai dominated the neighbourhood and therefore Yadav called him two months ago to kill Gawai.

Rajan in his previous case filed a bail application which was rejected by the High Court. As per Rajan, he had no money to seek the assistance of a lawyer, and Yadav offered a huge amount of money in return for supari to kill Gawai.

Senior police of the Kondhwa police station said that Yadav is currently absconding and Pune police have sent 3 teams to track him down. On the other hand, the police have recovered seven cartridges, three pistols and 1.20 lakh rupees from the duo.

The Kondhwa police filed the three u/s 155, 120 b, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and other sections of the Indian Arms Act.
