The HC was hearing an injunction suit moved by Domino’s against Mumbai-based student Pratik Vinit. In July 2021, Vinit ordered three vegetarian pizzas, out of the three pizzas, Vinit was delivered one non-vegetarian pizza. He moved to the Twitter platform and tweeted his grievance and then posted the contact numbers of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the Chief Business Officer (CBO) of the outlet.

In view of the same, Domino's approached the HC, on March 16, Vinit filed an affidavit stating that he was ready to remove the tweet. he further defended his actions by stating that he tweeted the official's number with good intentions so that other customers could reach out to them.

On April 11, the company's higher officials considered compensating Vinit and then withdrawing the suit. Accordingly, on April 12, the Court recorded that the company has paid a compensation amount to Vinit and sought to withdraw the suit.
