PROFESSOR DR. VED KUMAR APPOINTED AS NEW  VICE-CHANCELLOR OF NLUO

Professor Dr. Ved Kumari - former Dean and Head of Faculty of Law, Delhi has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of National Law University Odisha  (NLUO). Dr. Ved Kumari will take over Professor Yogesh Pratap Singh, who was serving as Vice-Chancellor of NLUO.

There were 41 candidates for the position , Out of which 8 were shortlisted. Including Former Vice Chancellors of other National Law Universities. The position was finally given to Dr. Ved Kumari - she has 35 years of experience as an academician, has written three books, and worked in the Faculty of law at the University of Jammu for two years.

On her appointment as VC, she said it was too early to say anything, plans will be made once she gets to know about the University.
