ZOMATO DELIVERY EXECUTIVE COUNTER CHARGES AGAINST SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER HITESHA CHANDRANEE - ACCUSES WOMAN OF ATTACKING HIM

On March 10, a complaint was filed by social media influencer Hitesha Chandranee against a Zomato Delivery boy named Kamaraj u/s 504 and 325 of IPC. As per the FIR, due to the delay in delivering the food, Hitesha denied paying for it. She alleges that in response, Kamaraj abused her and hit her nose with his fist. Within the sequence of incidents, she suffered a fracture on her nose.

Kamaraj filed a counter-complaint against Hitesha. As per the counter-complaint, Chandranee yelled, abused, and assaulted him; she repeatedly hit him with her slipper when he reached her place late to deliver food.

This incident in Bengaluru came in light, which grabbed nationwide attention and left the social media divided. Hitesha posted a video accusing the 28 yr old Zomato delivery executive of assaulting her when she tried to call customer care over the phone, requesting a refund.
