Law Firms

Most of the premier law firms have a target quota to fill each year for which they approach the top NLU for hiring as the NLU has a strong alumnus among the top-tier law firms. Law firms are just business entities that engage in the practice of law in an organized law firm rather than a traditional solo practice format as they advise clients on legal matters and their rights and obligations with their resources. While some law firm employees handle disputes across a wide range of topics, others focus on specific areas such as banking, corporate law, finance, and so on. In addition to having wide-ranging resources from the firm, a varied and large client base, well-equipped and plush offices, extensive and global networking, as well as good status and reputation, working with a law firm has many advantages. Generally, top-tier law firms pay law students well even when they are freshers, which increases once they get experience.

Judicial Clerkship:

A judicial clerkship is the most sought-after position for students looking for transactional or litigation work as it provides extremely valuable experience in the insight of working of the legal system.
