Recently, a sexual harassment case of a 16-year-old boy by a 24-year-old man at Yerawada Mental Hospital came to light.

The victim and accused are allegedly involved in crimes but have mental disorders and, therefore, are under rehabilitation and seeking psychiatric treatment.

The harassment frequently took place and came to light only after the victim narrated it to the warden. On the one hand, the minor was sent to the Sassoon hospital for medical examination, and on the other hand, the warden contacted the police. The 24-year-old was for an unnatural offence under the Indian Penal Code.

According to the FIR, the incident occurred inside barrack 44. The victim was admitted to a mental hospital one month ago, while the accused checked in within the last six months.

Currently, the accused is facing rape charges at the Kondhwa police station, and the victim is involved in a murder case registered at the Khadki police station. 

This incident occurred when the victim came out of his barracks. The accused then took advantage of the situation to sexually harass the boy. According to the victim's statement, the incident has occurred multiple times.
