The Delhi HC showed disappointment in the Covid situation in the Capital, especially the battle for oxygen in the state. The Delhi HC issued a notice of contempt to Inox (the country's largest medical oxygen manufacturer) for not complying with the Court's earlier order dated 19th April to supply 140MT of oxygen to the Delhi Government.

The counsel appearing for the Delhi government submitted that the company did not supply oxygen to the State, amounting to a violation of the Court order.

Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rakha Palli issued a notice of contempt and ordered M/s Inox directed the managing Director /owner to appear during the hearing on the next date personally. The Bench also passed several other directions to ensure the availability of oxygen in the state. The case will be next heard on 22nd April to hospitals.
