A 17-YEAR-OLD WAS ABDUCTED AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTED AFTER SHE TURNED DOWN A PROPOSAL OF A RAP SINGER

A 28-year-old rap singer abducted and sexually assaulted a minor girl he liked. The girl worked as a beautician and an aspiring model. Her father is a rickshaw driver, and her mother did housework. The girl met the accused on September 20, 2020, through acquaintances; the accused promised to help her with her modelling career and exchanged numbers.

Later, the 28-year-old rap singer proposed to the victim, but she refused. Being furious by the rejection and unable to handle rejection, he, under a false pretext, took the victim and her brother to his place. He then called the parents of the victim and asked them to take their son only or else he will kill their son. 

As per the FIR, the accused sexually assaulted the girl and would lock the minor in the flat and go out. One day, the girl tried to slip out after the accused forgot to lock. However, she failed and was brutally assaulted by the accused. On another day, the girl successfully reached her home after the accused forgot the lock. He rushed back to her house and forcefully brought her back to his house. After the incident, he gave the minor drug-laced injection to stop her from running. On July 17, taking advantage of the situation, the victim successfully ran away and was immediately sent to her relative's house. 

After the turn of events, the accused uploaded obscene pictures of the victim. An FIR was registered at the Hinjewadi police station against the Rapper accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
