KIREN RIJIJU APPOINTED AS THE NEW LAW MINISTER OF INDIA

Kiren Rijiju is appointed the Union Law Minister for law and justice after the reshuffle happened for the cabinet. This post was headed by Ravi Shankar Prasad, who tendered his resignation.

Kiren Rijiju is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and an Indian Lawyer from Arunachal Pradesh. He holds a law degree from the University of Delhi. In 2019, he became the state minister of Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of Minority Affairs. His name was associated with the fit India movement, a program launched by the Prime Minister of India.

Professor SP Baghel will be the state minister in the ministry of law and justice.
