LAW INTERN REGISTERED FIR AGAINST PUBLIC PROSECUTOR ALLEGING SEXUAL HARASSMENT

A law intern filed a First Information report in Urwa police station against Mangaluru, a public prosecutor, KSN Rajesh, alleging sexual harassment. As per the FIR, the prosecutor coaxed the girl to have sex with him on many occasions, and eventually, on September 25, he tried to exploit her in his office sexually.

Two police officials have been suspended in connection with the handling of the complaint. 

Rajesh has been serving as a special government prosecutor in corruption cases for the past few years. Two-three days ago, an audio clip of Rajesh and the intern's phone call was allegedly circulated on social media. Rajesh denied each and every allegation made by the student.
