NEED FOR PREPARATION FOR THE THIRD WAVE OF COVID 19 - SC

A Supreme Court bench comprising of Justice DY Chandrachud and MR Shah emphasised the need for preparation for the third wave of Covid 19, which will affect the children. The SC said this while staying on Delhi HC's order of contempt proceedings against the Central government for non-compliance with the Court's order to supply oxygen to Delhi.

The SC said that as per specialists and scientists, the third wave is predicted and if we prepare efficiently, we may tackle it. The bench conjointly urged the government to examine the possibility of utilising Medical field students who have completed their MBBS and waiting to obtain post-graduation.
