POCSO COURT SENTENCED A MAN TO DEATH FOR RAPING A 10-YEAR-OLD GIRL

Additional sessions Judge Mridul Dubey heading the Special Court of POCSO, sentenced a man named Neeraj to death for raping a minor girl aged 10 in December 2020. The case was disposed of within three and a half months. Ajumed Singh Chauhan (additional government counsel) said that on 14th December, Neeraj, a resident village under Jasrana police station, lured the girl to a barren place in his village and raped her.

The ADGC also added that the POCSO gave its verdict in record time.
