POLICE ARRESTED A YOUTH WHO ROAMED FREELY AFTER MOLESTING A JOURNALIST

Recently, the Nigdi Police arrested a man who roamed freely after molesting a former journalist. The Complainant filed a complaint after she was pinched on her back during Diwali while she was on her phone outside her house. The Complainant said that she shouted as soon as the accused touched her inappropriately, and a crowd gathered. But the crowd was unable to get a hold of the accused as he had already fled. 

The Police scanned the CCTV footage of the incident and identified the accused - Sujay Parab, a resident of Talegaon. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. He is booked under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
