PUNE YOUTH ARRESTED FOR CLICKING AND MORPHING OBSCENE PICTURES OF WOMEN

Recently, a youth was booked for clicking obscene pictures and creating morphed videos from his neighborhood. The Khadki police arrested Shubham Awde (25), and 5,000 photos and 40,000 objectionable videos were found on his phone.

It came to light that the accused, Shubham was indulged in pornography for six months. He cropped and edited women's faces in videos; most of the women were from his locality. It also came to light that the accused posted such content on social media. 

The act of the accused came to light after a 19-year-old acquaintance of the accused filed a complaint. He informed the police that the accused used to discuss things with him, and once, he was showing something on his phone when a 19-year-old came across his photo gallery, which had obscene pictures. The 19-year-old, along with others, realized that few pictures were of women from their locality. On being questioned, the accused brushed away the claims. 

They filed a complaint against the accused and revealed the same to the women. A case has been registered under sections 354 (a) (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 469 (Forgery for the purpose of harming reputation) of IPC and IT Act.
