The J&K HC Bar Association announced its decision to resume work for some days
The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association announced its decision to resume work for some days in the High Court, District Courts, lower courts, tribunals, revenue courts, and commissions from September 12.
The bar will be resuming work after a 51-day strike. The strike began on July 23, demanding the construction of a building within the HC premises to house various tribunals.

A press note was issued through General Secretary of the Bar Surjeet Singh Andotra, announcing the decision.
"Following the intervention of Hon'ble Chief Justice Sh., the learned member unanimously decided to resume work in the High Court, District Court, tribunals, commissions, and all revenue courts in Jammu for a few days.”
The Bar Association clarified that resuming work will not deter the Bar from fulfilling its demands.
