BAIL TO DELHI ROITS ACCUSED-DELHI HC

The Hon’ble Delhi High Court allowed the bail application and granted bail to the accused in the North-East Delhi riots while stating that his call detail records neither matches nor is seen in the CCTV corroborate with the place of incident.
The case was related to a riot in the Kardam Puri area in which a man named Deepak was killed. The petitioner was charged with the offences punishable under Sections 147/148/149/302/120-B/34 Indian Penal Code & Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
The Hon’ble High Court allowed the bail application to the accused with the condition to furnish a personal bond of Rs 30,000 with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court/Duty Judge.
The High Court further noted that witness statement was deposed on February 25, and the statement of the other witnesses who claimed to be eye-witnesses was recorded on March 3, whereas the incident took place on February 25
